CS will be at her mother’s a couple more weeks. Unfortunately the weather got a lot warmer than when she left. This left her with long pants and hoodies so she asked if I could bring her shorts and shirts. I think it would be cheaper for her to go buy some clothes instead of me driving seven hours to bring her some. She is the queen.

My father lives three miles from CS’s mother so decided I would bring her the clothes she wanted. Then take my dad out to breakfast for an early Fathers Day treat. Kill two birds in one trip. So got two more hours to work and then get on the road.

Maybe, just maybe a seven hour drive would be worth an unlocking. Doubt it as she will do nothing in her mother’s home but one can always hope.

This reminds me of when Mrs. G was looking to have our second child. It took a few months to get there. We’re pretty sure it happened the night after a long drive to visit my grandparents. It was tough keeping quiet in an old creeky bed in an old thin walled farmhouse. We told our daughter about it after she was an adult just to embarrass her a bit. Never did tell the grandparents.
