I agree a lot with the above. We splurged on the CB-6000 and I'm glad we did. It took a while for me to get comfortable sleeping in it (That break in period was worse then my On-Call schedule of 24 hour shifts every three days with 12 hour shifts in between as far as sleep lost) but once I did and my body got used to the device I love it. We're looking in the future to get a mature metal when money and timing is right. The other cheap-o devices of poor construction can have a lot of issues that will turn you or your partner off from chastity completely. If it breaks in your sleep and cuts you nothing is more terrifying to a partner then their bf/husband/partner waking up screaming in the middle of the night "OH MY GOD GET THE KEY MY PENIS IS BLEEDING." Also daily wear can be a problem if sharp edges aren't filed down right, etc. If you do get a cheaper device make sure ALL pieces of it that will contact your body are filed down very smoothly to avoid irritation, rashes, cuts, infections, etc. Also make sure that it is sturdy enough to withstand the "Super Erections" we all experience during sleep. Even the good plastic devices have a tendency to snap during sleep for this reason and caution is warranted. If not just sleep with it off.

Start slow, do not take it out of the box and wear it for three days or plan on that. Your body is not going to appreciate the new attachment at first and will try to tell you this by feeling irritated and possibly swelling. Wear it a few hours at a time, then a day at a time, until you can comfortably wear it and your body has adjusted. For some of us this means our scrotum has stretched a bit and the place where the ring sits has some thicker skin to accommodation the constant rubbing. Mucho importante to let your body adjust right because a partner new to this in some situations will be VERY scared of hurting you with this new uncharted kink and will shy away if they think they are.
