This is quite frightening considering I’ve been three years on a whole house renovation. Seems to take much longer when I mill, cure, plane and finish every board. Just building the new kitchen cabinets took nearly a year. It’s obviously I let too many other things take priority.

It is indeed a lot of work to expand the conservatory.
Especially because a new floor needs to be poured for the underfloor heating.
And because Miss R also wants the bathroom placed downstairs and a sauna, the facilities must also be installed for this.
The space we have is more than sufficient for that.

When it's finished it will be very beautiful. From the bedroom you can look straight into the garden, and with the sliding doors you can open it completely in the summer.
This is also the case with the bathroom so that you can look directly into the garden.
We then have the entire top floor as guest bedrooms. It's nice that we live in the back and no one can see into the garden.
But it is and remains a lot of work to make it all.
