From the forum rules pinned at the top of each subforum. It doesn't specifically mention the "kinks" group because it probably didn't exist but they are fine there too. The rules should be updated to reflect that.

link to the "rules" post viewtopic.php?p=27939#p27939 included below as well.

Pictures - Avatars & Attachments
Yes, we have to spell this out: your forum profile picture - your avatar - can not be anything that shows explicit or implied genitalia, sexual acts, or publicly identifying features.

We know you want to show off your new stainless steel underwear, but please do not take an explicit picture of yourself (locked up or otherwise) and use it as your avatar. Pictures of sheer, lacey panties barely concealing your device are also off limits.

We want this forum to be as friendly to newbs as we possibly can. And since many newbs are women, and since women tend to approach this a little nervously, we don't want them to open a thread and have your happyhorny show-off pictures smack them in the face.

So, please post explicit photographs (or other such artwork) in the Members Lounge, and include the (pic) or (photo) tag in your subject title. That way, only forum members will see them - and not random strangers from the internet - and anybody who opens that thread will have ample warning.

Edit by Schnoff: Explicit photographs or artwork are also allowed inside your own journal in the Journey forum. That's in your own journal thread only; if you photo-bomb other people's journals, we'll warn once, and ban on the second offense.

Please use some common sense. If you have any question as to your choice being appropriate, please message the mods.

Personally, I feel the specific pictures were just fine. I think that it if someone is on a male chastity site, and reading about male chastity, and all of our experiences and all of the various dynamics we all enjoy, there is no harm in a few "on topic" images. I also feel that the images in my hubbies journey are/were actually supportive to a newbie who may be lurking for info.

That said, the pics go where they go. I am fully in support of what my husband posted, specifically speaking.

Ok.
I have definitely posted some rude pics in the members section, which cant be accidentally discovered by public and are clearly marked images.
Now if I quite rightly have to title it as rude pics even in the members only section, why not in public forums and public jounals?

There are journals in the "bit more private" section that are mainly caged dic images. Also not where they can be found accidentally. So no issues. That works.

I think its more about accidental discovery by the public and dare I say sensitive women and children?

No one from here is actually complaining about the images. We all see dics all the time. I think the message is saying that we should be mindful of others.

Forgive me if im wrong.

Nope, you are not wrong. That all made sense!

This is pulled from the rules and it highlights exactly what you said and this also why my specific pictures were actually even posted in the area that they were

I agree being mindful of others is key 🗝️

I think a [User ID - NSFW] helps the edit by Schnoff exist in a careful way.

But if that is not an option. Then, I personally will only post "explicit" photographs in the Kinks, Oh My! Section - simple fix on my end

Yes. It is confusing and also stangely contradicting.
That way, only forum members will see them
Makes sense. However;
in your own journal thread
Where the public can see them? That makes no sense at all?
It totally contradicts the above and you're right to point that out.

You did check the rules and went with the latter rule.
Thus no rules broken, and no one accusing of rule breaking.

I do wonder if when the forum was setup,
If the journeys were all private for member viewing only? And since then they have become public, but the rules not updated? Anyone?

So the rules need clarifying. Graphic content where public can see them or not?

Bearing in mind that most people using google don't land on the home page. They go directly to content I have to say the line :
only forum members will see them
has to be the one that overrules them all. For both moral and legal reasons.

Fortunately there are a lot of members only sections to choose from including journeys.

Apology accepted!

I can see how a warning of sorts would go a long way. A NSFW tagline in the Journey name would work well I think.

I totally understand. I am new here and wish to offend no one, yet at the same time I did wish to "shake things up a bit" at least in my journey area.

This is all a big misunderstanding, as I was a bit involved in the "journey bombing" topic from a few weeks back, so I am a bit tentative (read: sensitive) about doing things that may be considered "out of line" around here. Commentary that doesn't mention me or my journey by name but clearly is being discussed per the specific details kind of intensifies that "sensitivity" and puts me into a slight feeling of fight or flight (yes even on the Internet. I'm a special case I guess)

Then I read more comments in agreeance of the topic...

There is another online chastity community that is far more explicit that this one, (we won't go there), but this community is NOT that one for a reason, and I am aware of that

So I'm a man....

I immediately go into "fix it" mode.

What's the easiest fix?

Removal and don't put em back. :)

I only wish to be supportive of those who may be struggling from time to time with MC, as I struggle with it mightily now and again. In my mind, the imagery was supportive of the specific lifestyle we have chosen here

Seriously I will be more careful of my imagery. I do not want to offend anyone. Literally anyone.

I apologize for my misunderstanding. Miss @Kh_C
Personally I hope that this does not put you off actively participating in this forum (I enjoy reading your posts), that would be a shame and you have made it perfectly clear that you had no intention to cause offence, and I'm sure thats the case.

I would suggest the way forward is simply to keep posting, but limit explicit pictures to the members only area and insert the required [pic] in the title.

Can we now close this and move on? Please?

It absolutely will not put me off from posting here at all! And thank you for the kind words!

I'm absolutely good with everything.

The post by Miss @Kh_C was more than adequate to bring the conversation to a close. I accepted, as you quoted here

I was then really really ok with everything after @Mr Pickle and I volleyed back and forth.

I'm totally good. I posted a new pic in my journey...go check it out 💞

I suppose what matters from my end isn't so much whether pics are limited to just members only, but whether any person - member or not - knows if they're going to see explicit pics before opening any given thread. Secondarily, what's the purpose of the pic? If it's just another dick pic, then there's no particular need to allow it here, there are other places where guys can post those. But as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes a pic will illustrate something discusses in a journey much better than a block of words. Of course, most of the things that need explanation are probably on the much more kinky side, which implies the pics will be farther out there...

I'd say let this site err on the side of less pics and less extreme content, since while there are plenty of places to post extreme chastity kinks, there are very, very few places like this where you can avoid such content.
