diameter hasn't been an issue, as for length, I appear to be between a small and a short Cherry Keeper, not sure it's worth the extra $90 to get something 3MM one way or the other.

I'd say width wise I'm touching the sides all the time. Length I'm almost always touching the full length with the odd exception.
