Had an important new development last night.

Mrs had told me in the morning that she was feeling horny. Later there was some miscommunication and I got a bit grumpy, which she didn't like. In the evening she says, c'mon, time for sex! We go in the bedroom and she says: "I'm going to unlock you, and you'll take off the cage. Then you'll go down for cunnilingus, then lock right up again. No PIV since you were grumpy." And that's how it went!

Just got our new Mature Metal Jailbird.

I never had a metal device before, so I was worried it might be heavy or feel weird. First impression---it's super comfortable and not heavy at all!

The old BirdLocked was 121g, and the new MM is 149g. The MM sits nice and close to the body, though, so it actually feels lighter. Way easier to put on than the BirdLocked, and it's a more comfortable, natural "posture".

I got these sizes, based on following MM's sizing ring instructions:

Cage Inside Diameter: 1 3/8" (34.9 mm)
Base Ring Inside Diameter: 1 7/8" (47.6 mm)
Length: 2 3/4" (69.8 mm)
Gap: 3/8" (9.5 mm)

Everything feels right. Possibly the "Cage Inside Diameter" could be one notch smaller.

Hello Ms Keeping Him, and welcome! I've been following your comments on other threads, and I just wanted to say I hope your man understands how lucky he is.

Two days in the Jailbird and all's good still. Had a bit of the dreaded "ball burn" last night, but only a very minor case. Otherwise I often forget I'm even wearing it.

I've had various devices over the years (CB-3K, CB-6K, Birdlocked, some other bits). Jailbird is by far the most comfortable. Unlike all the others I've tried, it has a very open design. I think that'll be good for letting the skin breathe to keep everything healthy. Also the stainless steel should be easier to keep clean than plastic or silicone.

Another benefit is that the Jailbird was very easy to get on and off. I'm hoping Mrs will take advantage of that from time to time.

I realized it's not a good idea to let the Jailbird "hang free". I went for a long walk, and halfway along the dangle started to cause pain in the balls, which is somewhere you really don't want to experience any pain! I had to slowly hobble home.

I bought some 3mm paracord. Now I have a loop tied to the base ring going around the hips and back. That way the cage weight is fully supported by the paracord, not the balls. No more swinging or sagging. Everything's held where it should be. (In hindsight, Mature Metal's "Mouse Ears" ring would be perfect design for tying cord like that, https://maturemetal.com/product/base-ring-mouse-ears/. But it works fine tied directly to the ring, too.)

You might also shop around and try some supportive underwear. I had the same problem as you when the 'dangle' caused problems after a while. I didn't like the idea of a strap around my waist, so I started trying different kinds of supportive underwear. I found some that work real well. They support the weight of the cage, and are very comfortable. These are what work well for me -
