My KH expects me to take care of my cock and take action if there are any problems. I will occasionally get an imprint on the top part of my shaft, and it freaks me out. I have the spare key for that purpose, just to make sure that things are in good order.

My experience is interesting, in that I went through a significant transformation when I downsized my MM from 2-1/2" to 2", but also inadvertently down in diameter to 1-1/8" instead of what I thought was going to be 1-1/4" from 1-3/8". Needless to say, the visual impact both wearing it (completely fills cage and the head is definitely compressed at edges) and after taking it off (can you say "waffle pattern?") is dramatic.

I find the mind fuck of it very powerful. It is not uncomfortable, but I truly cannot get any erection at all, and that is a completely different experience to what I encountered with the larger cage. My partner, who is a nurse, initially expressed concern, but now seems to enjoy the complete control exerted over my erections,now that she has been reassured that it is not at all painful from compression. And the frustration factor is sooooo amplified.

I'm in a jailbird and I always have cage marks along my shaft, even if I haven't been straining a lot. I wouldn't worry, skin and penile tissue are both very elastic and will not hold marks like that long. Mine are always gone with an erection or after an hour or two if I stay flaccid. If you're not in pain, it's fine.
