Mr Cage, I think MM will shorten your cage for about $125. That's a chunk, but cheaper than a new device if it fits everywhere else. The most important measurement is the cage diameter because it can't be changed. You just have to buy a new device. Been there, done that, twice. Most MM devices resell very well, so if you have to sell and purchase another, you will lose, on avg, about $100-150 when you sell and reorder a new device..
