Jailbird A-ring sizing?

It sounds like a similar situation to mine - in normal conditions I can get my finger under the ring to the knuckle and during the day I can't tell I'm wearing it... however at night I get a dull pain and need to get up and read or go to the bathroom...

I have another ring that is 1/16 larger and in normal conditions i can get a couple of fingers under the ring, but I can also sleep a lot better.

I use silicone lube and yes, there is some rotation, but a tight pair of underwear keeps everything in place. I've got as close to perfect as I can I think and I'd rather err on the side of caution and not be causing myself any damage trying to get hard during the night. I'd rather sleep.

I wonder if the double ring would also help with these problems.

Just in case CM didn't mention in the PM. . Once you have a double ring made by MM you can't have it re-sized.

I have both a single and a double and I prefer the double.

Good advice above. It sometimes takes months for your body to adjust and for you to make the necessary alterations for a comfy fit, but once you get it right it's pure joy.

I think the boys might have got on to something in emails - hopefully locked4now doesn't mind me explaining this - they worked out that he went from Steelworxx anatomical ring that is bent backwards to the MM base ring... Thinking his body might need that extra room where the rings was tipped back.

But I'm sure he will work that out in time.
