Mrs. Edge and I have discussed "maintenance reviews;" that is, a regular evening once a week for her to list real or imagined infractions and to dole out "funishments" (spanking, cropping, etc.) as she sees fit. The idea is that we both dislike the idea of punishment, and since I'm an awesome husband, there's nothing that really needs correcting. But Mrs. Edge enjoys the idea of being in control, and I enjoy the idea of her *being* in control, so the concept of her making up some kind of odd thing for correction became intriguing. Things like "You didn't make my cup of coffee before you left for work on Tuesday," or "You rolled your eyes when I was describing the color/pattern for the new drapes in the living room."

We're very much like you. Mrs. Lion isn't particularly into punishing me, but she knows I like the control We have "offenses" like dropping food or my napkin (damn thing always slides off my lap) that result in some paddle swats. She likes to swat my balls just for fun. But there are no real issues between us that would warrant any real punishments. We are a responsible couple and we don't get on one another's nerves much at all. She does swat me, however, when I interrupt her. I do that sometimes.

I'm probably going outside of the real punishment idea here bc I enjoy some pushing of boundaries & it's not really punishment, I suppose. But, some of the things we've done are likely real punishment to others. My faves include:

--her tying me down & giving me a full brazilian wax (after the 2nd time you'll stay bald for a couple weeks -- use the strips...trust me!

the wife has a crop she uses for punishments, but we haven't done that in a while. it was mostly about a chance for her to know she'd gotten her say in, and for me a chance to blow off some guilt and start fresh.
