Thank you all so much for the advice! So I've decided to start out with something cheap, either from DHgate or Amazon, and probably the Jailhouse to start out with.

Faskwa, welcome to the board, and it sounds like you are taking the right approach. The cheaper devices are pretty good for starting out and learning what works and doesn't work - though I highly recommend getting a custom sized device when you're ready to take a bigger step into doing it. I would have saved hundreds of dollars in various off the rack devices if I'd invested in my Mature Metal jailbird sooner... but without the years in the other devices I wouldn't have known what was the best fit for me either.

Give yourself time to adjust to it all, sleeping is the greatest hurdle for most of us - but we're all different and everything, such as what works best - such as kind of lubes/lotions or what kind of underwear to wear, etc... varies quite a bit from person to person.

I went to your link and read it all. I don't have my device yet (I get it soon), but I'm glad you sent me that link. It'll definitely help me getting use to sleeping with it on. And I'll have to experiment with what lube to use around the device. A lot of great advice in there I'll be reading it again. Thanks so much!

I would recommend that you get the best cheap device for your anatomy. Some of the devices mentioned are far too big. Find one that will fit snugly and not allow too much of an erection. I started with a cb6000s. It is way too big, and I have a Steelworxx Looker 02 on the way, as I could slip my erect cock out of the back of the cb, jerk off a bit, and slip it back in too easily.

Hey guys! Just wanted to give an update. After I received the Jailhouse device I immediately put it on. Well not immediately... I first of course chose the biggest ring size, the 2", then I put that around my balls, then pushed my penis through. By that time I had an erection, so I had to walk around and do other stuff. I eventually got the whole cage on and locked. So I wore it for a couple few hour sessions, just to get the feel for it. Pinching was occuring, as in skin being pushed out through the gaps, so I learned to use 2 or sometime 3 Q-tips to push my skin towards the end of the cage so it lays flat and my whole penis then fills the cage without any pinching, and that made it a lot easier.

After getting used to it, I started a self-lock session on emlalock, just to get used to the process and the interface, just a few hour session. The next day I was feeling confident and made a public session on Emlalock, someone claimed it, we talked and he was nice. At first it was intended to be a short session, but he convinced me to add to it, so I changed the max to 1 day, and ended up sleeping in it. Sleeping in the device was better then expected. I only got semi erections, but I did wake up several times through out the night having to reach down and readjust. But overall, over that 24 hour period I got used to wearing it and in the end, after I unlocked myself, I was immediately missing that hugging feeling of the cage, yet I was very frustrated while wearing it. Very interesting psychological aspect of chastity that I'm discovering.

Anyways, I've just been wearing it casually, with no session. I went for a run today with that 2" ring on. Well, when I went into the bathroom to take a shower, I discovered one of my balls had set itself free. I then easily pulled the other out, then complete removed the cage while it was all locked up. So I switched to the 1.75" ring tonight.

I haven't slept with the 1.75" ring on yet, but I'm going to tonight. Hopefully it'll be alright, I think it will. It is a bit snugger and the cage isn't sliding off of my penis anymore, so thats really nice because I don't have to keep readjusting the skin every so often with those Q-tips. I do use a water based lube on the penis, and a little bit of petroleum jelly around the base ring. I'm thinking there's a more efficient lube out there though.

So that's my progress so far. Thanks everyone for your advice here! (: Oh, and peeing, I have to get more used to it. I have to push harder to pee, especially at the end if I actually want to empty my bladder completely. It's a bit annoying and peeing isn't so fun anymore. Someone said to push on the underside of the balls, like the taint area to get that last bit of pee out, and that helps so thanks to whoever said that. But really the hardest part of this is peeing and sleeping. Daytime wear is noticeable but not all that annoying. It's just sort of "there", between my legs, a bit of added weight but I bet I'll get used to it.

Looks like you are off to a good start. Everything you talked about is normal with regards to getting adjusted. Some of us have taken weeks and months to get acclimated to a particular device. If something starts turning bright colors or getting cold to the touch then you've gone too far.
