Remeasured and updated my order, reducing from 2.25" to 2". Hope I don't regret it.

I hope not either... you can always shorten a cage once you get it but you can't lengthen it... good luck!

It's a pretty fine line between being carefull with the measurements and close enough.

For what it's worth, it sounds like you're measurements are pretty close to mine.

I am in a Queens Keep, and we went with a 2in cage, and are happy. But 1/4 inch either way is close enough in my opinion, leaning toward shorter.

Either way, you can't compare the comfort of the MM device.

As far as I know, no. William & Mistress MM both told me when ordering our cages that a cage can always be shortened but never lengthened.

The 6-8 weeks is a killer though.

The wait is killer!

When I was measuring hubby, I measured lots and lots all different times of the day and even while he was sleeping haha can't get anymore limp than that!
