Measurements against CB6000s

I have been wearing a cb6ks for 2 months now and have found the 1&3/4" ring to be a perfect fit for me. The problem I have with the cage is I have not been able to wear it at all during the night. Even if I get a slight erection the cage is pushed tight into my ball sack (I have the largest spacer 5/8") and the bottom edge of the cage pushes into the top of my scrotum at the base of my penis to the point it is very painful.

Has anybody else had this issue that has gone to a mm jailbird and was the 1/2" gap of the jailbird enough to relieve this problem. I am looking at a 1&3/4" ring (oval), 1/2" gap with the cage 1&1/8" diameter.

I took my cb6ks off today and put it back together. The gap at the top of the cage was 5/8", however the gap at the bottom was only 1/2" and with slight finger pressure on the tip of the cage the gap at the bottom of the cage was less than 3/8".

Just received my Jailbird yesterday. As far as comparing to the CB6000s it appears all of the measurements are right on. At first I was worried the cage diameter was wrong (possibly a little larger fitting though the same size as my CB6000s), but now that I am wearing it I comfortably fill the cage. I had bought MM's sizing rings and between them and the ones coming with my CB6000s, was able to find the smallest base ring size I could accommodate. Slept a lot better last night with the new JB and probably will be getting the Mature Metal security screw depending how much the lock shows through my pants since it has to attach sideways instead of facing forward like my CB device. It feels comfortable so far and will let you know how it goes. When wearing my CB6000s I completely filled the 2 1/4" length with just a bit of overflow out the vent holes. I had decided on the 3/8" gap and the 1 3/4" base ring (tried one size smaller but it seemed to be too tight for regular wear). I am VERY pleased that it appears I have gotten the measurements correct on the first try. Whew! I sure did not want to have to reorder a new one after spending that much money and hopefully will not need to change anything other than replacing the lock with a security screw. One big hint. If you are using the CB6000 devices, make sure and wear them for a while sine you might find you can downsize the Base ring a couple of times before everything settles out size wise. I changed my order from the 2" ring twice before settling on the 1 3/4" base ring. Hope this helps!

Welcome to the JB club! i have a lock, and even though it mounts on the JB differently than the CB6000, it does not add to the visibility of the device. In fact, the CB6000 lock can move around a lot more than the JB lock, and i found at times the CB6000 lock would end up in weird positions and show. i don't have that problem with the JB.

I made the jump from cb6000 to the Jailbird a few years ago and it was the best choice I made...
I used the same measurements as the cb except I wanted the cage itself to be much shorter therefore I could hide it under my clothes easier. The best thing about Mature Metal is the way the are always willing to help.
They will work with you until you are completely satisfied with everything. Their motto is (the sale is not final until the customer is happy). I had questions and they were very helpful. If you order something and the sizing is not right, you can sent it back and they will make any adjustments you need. Most of the time it will only cost you for shipping. Even now three years later I had a question about an adjustment and they were still very helpful and willing to assist me.....If you are into long term chastity, steel chastity cages is the way to go and the Jail Bird is a good option.
