Devices less than 4 inches long?

I am in the same boat. I have had the chance to try a lot of cages and belts. I think that a cage should touch the head of the penis at all times. This is less because it prevents any erection length growth than it makes urination a lot less messy. Most good cages, plastic, silicone, and metal, have a good opening in the front that will allow normal urination without spray if the head is touching the end of the device. I found a bunch of inexpensive (under $75) cages on Amazon available in a couple of short sizes. I got one that has a 2 1/2 inch cage and one with a 2 inch cage. The 2 1/2 inch cage allowed around 1/2 inch of room past the tip much of the time. Since the length of the penis varies even when flaccid, some of the time the cage fit fine and other times there was that gap. The 2 inch cage is a tight fit. It was a bit of work to get in and at first it looked like I was trying to overflow. However, it felt good and my head stayed pressed against the end of the cage. Obviously, there was no room for length growth. Circumference did increase when it attempted to get hard. Both models have removable urethral tubes. I liked the tubes and they are very comfortable (also too short to cause an infection). It might make sense to buy a couple of these short devices and test them. When you find the one you like, upgrading to a MM cage or another higher quality one will be easy since you know for sure what sizes to order. There isn't one cage I tested until I tried these two new device that actually even cam close to fitting me.

One question: On the MM site, there are sizing questions regarding cage diameter. The inexpensive devices I bought to test are 1 1/2" diameter. I fit in to that size, but I have no idea if it is the one I should specify in a custom made device. Any guidance here?
