What Mike says is true. I didn't go far enough but that was my point about involving the K/H.

When I decided to go custom LRC liked the bars of the CB2000. She also liked the way that my head was so sensitive when it came out of the CB3K/6K.

Working with MM, LRC, and myself we came up with this design. It took over twenty Emails and one phone call before it was right. LRC was delighted with the finished device. Sometimes, depending on LRC's mood, when it first comes off I curse it.

I remember reading somewhere that someone had, I think, Steelworxxs place their integrated lock on a MM device. If memory serves me right it was MM, then Steelworxxs, then back to MM to be finished. It took them months to get exactly what they wanted.

The point being is to make sure whatever device you order if it isn't quite what you want "off-the-rack" talk with the maker. I think all of them will do what they can to accommodate your special need.
Current device - MM Custom
Previous devices - CB2000, 3000, 6000, 6000s, Curve

It looked really cool too, I would have definitely ordered one of those if I could. If you want to see a picture of it there is one in the marketplace section from when he sold it.

When I ordered my Steelheart it started as just the locking cock ring that I was going to weld one of my Jailbird cages to. I was practicing my SS welding and everything. Then before it shipped I decided to add the Steelheart tube to it. I loved the Steelheart so much that I never pursued that project any further.

The Revenge should be pretty good for hygiene. It is open enough that you can spray water from the shower wand in the end. If you take the shower head off the hose (you do have a shower head on a hose right?, if not you should get one it really helps) you can flow water through the device from the back. Thumper has an excellent video on how it works.

The problem with urinating is that there doesn't appear to be a good place for the urine stream to go without hitting a bar. The hole in the end is too small. If you search the forum enough you will find where someone has one and had that issue. If you sit it shouldn't be too much of a problem but will still require a bit more cleaning up at the time.

Not having any visual contact whatsoever is one of my favorite things about the Steelheart. That and no physical contact. It is a very different experience from the CB3000 and the Jailbird. I have no desire to go back to either.

I would just suggest not to focus too much on trying to match the CB6K. I had a CB3K when they first came out. Then upgraded to the CB6K when they came out. So, I have a lot of experience with the CBXK models as a lot of us here do. I was also fairly happy with the fit and comfort of it. Until... I got my first Metal. I also ended up with a Stealheart from Dietmer at http://www.steelworxx.de/.

Curiousnotgeorge wrote: Thanks Atone, I think I'll ask if the end of the Revenge or steelheart can be made into a slit, much like the cb6000s which I find works very well. Do you have any hygiene issues with the steelheart? What's the longest you've worn it continuously?
Cheers

I don't have any hygiene issues with my Steelheart. The longest I have been in it continuously with absolutely no removal is 57 days. Right now I am at day 34 and fully expect to go at least 91 days total before it is removed. I don't see any future events that will require removing it unlike my last stint that seemed to have one thing after another pop up that required me to remove it.

I think a Steelheart with a slit would probably work pretty good. The Steelheart 2 however has all the same problems as the Revenge (as far as I can see). There is at least one member on this forum that has a Steelheart 2 and he indicated the same thing. The extra holes made it harder to urinate cleanly and more difficult to clean because you cannot force soapy water up and through the device. I think the slit would work ok because you could cover part of the slit with your fingers while you use a spray bottle.

Curiousnotgeorge wrote:How does that impact things like going to the gym or sports?
I can avoid going to the gym just as easily in metal as I could in plastic, or not wearing a device at all for that matter.

Weight was a real concern when I got my first metal device. It turned out to not be a problem for me. If you dig hard enough you can probably find some posts that compare the weight of plastic to various metal devices.

I keep in pretty good shape through an active job but I don't do sports. The only time I have had a problem is if I try to do any running. If I knew I was going to be running I would wear something with a lot of support, either a jock strap or compression shorts.

A tighter A ring and confining tube is helpful but probably not necessary. I think any device is going to slip down under certain circumstances.

147 days in a CB6000s without removal is a pretty long time, if you can keep that clean without taking it off you can probably manage in any of the devices you suggested. The only one that might be more difficult to clean than the CB is the Pet Trap. The sharp angle of the Pet Trap makes it difficult to get around the bottom half of the penis with a q-tip or stream of soapy water.
