fyi abus 65/20 lock alternative to master padlock

Just thought I would give a heads up that the abus 65/20 works for jailbird and cbxxx devices perfectly. I believe it is a 4 pin instead of the 3 pin master lock. Seems of much higher quality than the master..amazon has them

I didn't look at it but if it is a 4 pin rather than 3 pin then it would be somewhat more difficult to pick. The little master locks are rather easy to pick with just a paper clip. It wouldn't be any more difficult to cut with bolt cutters though.

Tame lion...Abus is regarded much more highly than Master is...its what I use ...I believe its a 4 pin but I am not sure...is it better? Beats me...thats why I wrote alternative.

At the link below you'll find a lot of good info on the Abus locks. It says 5 pin on that page. i've never tried (or considered trying) to pick the master lock on my cage, but next time i need a new lock i'll buy the Abus; it appears to be a better product for about the same price.

We found that the Abus is a higher quality so we have switched from the Master locks to the Abus 65/20. They also fit the devices better because the shank is just a little longer than on the Master locks.
