I am having the opposite problem. I would go get a PA or Frenum in an instant if my wife would approve. At one point she kind of entertained the idea or so I thought, but it turns out that she just didn't reject the idea at that time. A couple of conversations since then have pretty much ruled it out for now. I may bring it up again some day but not for quite a while.

You guys got me all wanting him to go get a PA again. It had went to the "if you want one I don't care either way dept" but now I am not sure! And he hasn't said no.......

BTW, welcome :)

I feel for Atone, it must be very difficult if you really want a PA and your wife does not.
All I can say is that my wife loves it and it has been a great success. The only time she complains is when the ring rattles on her teeth when it's my lucky, lucky day.
I now use a titanium 5mm x 19mm dia CBR. She prefers the titatnium to stainless because it is lighter - kinder to her teeth :D
I would avoid a frenum piercing. Although the PA looks much more sever, it really is not the case and is far less likely to migrate or cause problems - I recall Tom had trouble with a frenum piercing and finally gave up with it.
PAs are great.
Thanks for the welcome notes everyone.

I have to say, I really do <3 Lukus' PA. When he told me he wanted to get one, I of course said I'd go with him to hold his hand - but it was in no way my idea. Mostly I was concerned it would be really painful for him. (It didn't seem that bad... maybe I can get him to comment on this.)

I have a clit hood piercing, and used to have my nipples pierced (they looked amazingly hot, but never truly settled... I may try again someday but they are out for now).

Well, it healed up quite quickly (same as the clit hood, actually) and we've both really enjoyed the benefits since then.

I'd thought it might be awkward, but it is actually really nice. Internally, I do notice it, but it is not uncomfortable at all. It can be really fun to tug on it! The only time it is too present is when the ring hits my teeth, which is easily adjusted in the moment. ;-)

So, count me in the "PA, Yay!" camp. :-D

Oh, also, regarding frenum - I would say that it is not worth it compared to the PA. The frenum looks sexy as hell, but once it's healed it just sits there looking sexy, without really doing anything for you (we've all dated people like that, right? LOL!) whereas the PA is a *functional* piercing.

:ahem:

You should know that you should never believe anything that Tom writes, nor can you ever take him seriously. The guy is a flake. Totally. I mean, people keep reading his blog and reading his forum comments, and nobody has figured out that he's pretty much making it up as he goes along.
