For completeness (and not to brag) my size when erect is:

Width - 50mm
Length - 170mm

I protested the change to metric. What's that in inches?

mm / 25.4 = in

50mm = 1.968" (1-31/32" for you fraction lovers)
170mm = 6.693" (6-11/16")

I have measured and checked quite a few times, but happy to be given advice, after all that is why I asked

Based on what you measured it sounds like it is probably about right. I just get concerned when I see something that large, many times in the past I have seen someone disappointed when it ended up too big.

Well my CD shipped yesterday, very quick as I only ordered on the 8th January.
I will let you all know how I get on with it!
I'm self locking to start with, once comfortable with the device and able to wear it for long periods I will hand over the keys to my partner who knows nothing about it at the moment.
Should be interesting!
I need to be locked up, I need more focus and less 'self abuse'.

At one point I ordered a 35mm tube with an overall length of 80mm and it is huge. I found it much more difficult to keep it obscured in my pants

But Thumper's steelheart short is a 70mm tube (so 85mm overall) with 35mm dia and it doesn't look that big?

Thanks for the clarification. Spent my formative years worrying that it might not be big enough and now I'm starting to obsess over whether my steelheart will be sufficiently small!
