Enjoying but feel naked...

I just texted him a message asking him how it was going and checking on his hands-off status. He texted back, "Enjoying but feel naked." That made me very happy. As I said in the blog, I want him to get to the point of preferring to be locked. My fantasy: that he thanks me for locking him up. Which, as I think about it, also gives me another way to deny him. "You want your cage, darling? Well, let me think about whether or not you've earned it."

What do others think/feel about this? I know that Atone said that after four days unlocked, he was begging for his Jailbird back. Thumper recently had a week of freedom and although he enjoyed it, he was also happy to get his Steelheart back on.

You do get used to it. It's probably hard to explain to a woman, but the snugness of the device is very comforting. Sometimes its described as "Her hand holding my genitals". It's not far off that.

Yup, same here - if we've been playing for a while, I feel odd without it. It makes the tease a lot less intense.

I have to agree, when the device and I aren't fighting with chaffing, I ADORE wearing it. When I finally have a secure, well-fitting and aesthetically pleasing device, I'm sure I'll wear it 24/7, even though my Wife isn't interested in holding the keys. I just love it.

The first two weeks I think I'm somewhat ambivalent about it. Once two weeks have passed I'd much rather be locked in than out. And I do thank my wife/HK often and always say thank you when she clicks the lock closed.

I say the same thing to CQ. I feel centred and balanced when wearing the device. CQ feels the benefit too. The weight and reminder is exactly as others say. I feel CQ's presence all the time and it is very reassuring for us both.

I'm the same way. I feel totally different when I'm locked vs. when I'm unlocked. While it's nice to be out for a short while after a long lockup, it's much more comforting and puts me in a better state of mind when I'm locked back up.

Dev, It's kind of a double edge sword for me. No doubt in my mind that I would rather be locked. But comparing our situation with your's would be like comparing apples and oranges. My spouse has said that I am more attentive and loving when locked. She loves the way I dote on her. However, I want her to want me locked because it indicates to me that she is invested in the MC part of our relationship and recognizes the positives. At present, I am unlocked for the very reason that she has not mentioned MC since I was last unlocked. I guess my current feeling is that, if I have to ask to be locked, then I am kind of "topping from the bottom", so to speak. So, we have been sitting here during the holiday mayhem, looking at each other and saying nothing. Maybe we are both waiting for the other to say something, I don't know. Anyway, a stalemate exists at the moment.

As far as you and Ab, I think that if he knows how much you prefer him locked, then it will be a no brainer for him. Ab needs to know how strongly you feel about this. At a time when he is highly aroused and locked, you need to just come right and tell him that, " I love that you are locked for me and my greatest fantasy is for you to truthfully tell me that you prefer to be locked for me than unlocked". I predict he will be putty in your hands.
