So a question for those who carry their device in their carry-on through security: I take it that you're carrying non-metal devices (such as the CB-x000)?

Interesting question. I have not had a need to travel since upgrading to the steelheart. So, all of my experience is with the CB3K and CB6K. I don't see how the metal one would change anything as long as its in carry on. But, I hope to hear from others with actual experience.

I've always used one of the cb-X000 line, but I'm not sure how a metal device would change things too much -- the plastic outline should still show up. Then again, I've carried some fairly obvious "adult toys" in my luggage as well, so maybe I just have less of a humiliation threshold...

I have a Mature Metal chastity device (watchful mistress) and have had in my carry on computer bag for flights leaving from Phoenix to Charlotte then checking in at another date in Charlotte to Frankfurt Germany and then back. No problem, not even a second glance.

I would like to try wearing it. Worst thing is I'd have to explain it.

So what.

Flew out of Boston's Logan Airport last October wearing my CB6000's with plastic numbered lock. Was a little  when I saw I was going to have to go thru a full body scanner. Last time I flew from that terminal it was the old scanner. Oh well. there's a first for everything and I was early for the flight so I could afford a little delay. I went right threw. Now maybe there were a few TSA Agents :) or  but I wasn't stopped or questioned. Same thing happened on my flight back from Charlotte.
Happily secured since 4/2010 :-)
Have worn CB3000, CB6000s, MM Jail Bird & Watchful Mistress,
DHgate A271 & 273, DHgate Full Stainless Steel Belt & DHgate HT nub
Currently wearing A273

Not too long ago, I saw something about this on a blog. I'm not certain, but think it maybe have been the http://subservient-husband.blogspot.com/ blog. Assuming that was the right blog, he was told that the TSA is aware of male chastity devices and will allow travel while wearing one. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean you won't be subject to a pat-down and extra questioning at the checkpoint.

I don't travel very often, and when I do I go on the honor system. I've already decided if I'm ever forced to explain what it is (i.e., unexpected visit to the ER, etc.), that I'll just explain it away as a sex toy/game with my wife. I suspect that will be more than enough of an answer. ;)

and yes, that IS my beautiful hotwife wearing the key to my cb-6000s!

danj wrote:Seriously, I think if you travel in a device you need to be prepared for the real possibility of discovery. It's as simple as that. If you are willing to deal with explaining it, you'll likely be allowed to continue on your merry way. I am one of those people that is not willing to share my often chaste condition with strangers!

I don't travel as much as I used to, but do know that if they see something they cannot ID in a body scan they will do a pat down that runs up to, and including your scrotum. I am willing to bet that the more aggressive TSA agents will feel the cage when they run their hands up to your "junk". If they do, they will be required to investigate. While I really prefer to be locked when away from my wife, I'd rather go with the honor system then have to deal with all that TSA drama...but that's just me. Other men in chastity (and their wives!) may feel differently. I also realize that some wives may insist on it, and I guess those couples would have to weigh the pros and cons.
danj has nailed it. I travel a lot and it is just not worth it. I won't even wear a device when using private jets just incase there is a security difference at the different aviation handlers.
