New Forum Area for Keyholders??

I would like to pose a suggestion that a new area in the forum be created just for our Keyholders. It would not necessarily be only for keyholders, but a forum area where keyholders would be the primary posters. Other members could post a question for keyholders or reply to a KH question, as well.

For some time, I have attempted, without success, to get my KH/Spouse to participate on this forum. One of her complaints is that she has to sort through so many threads to find the few that are authored by and have information for keyholders. It would take a little work, but our site admin could round up all the threads that contain keyholder info and/or authored by keyholders and move them there. The rest of us could promise to not muck up that area of the forum once it is set up. If I could show her that an area has been set up especially for her, maybe it would entice her to join in, maybe not. I feel it's certainly worth considering. My suggestion for the forum area would be: Keyholder's Lounge.

Any other recommendations/suggestions for such an area?

I'll 'third' the suggestion. Although she *took* charge (rather than *me* 'putting' her in charge), a few days ago when I mentioned that she wasn't getting as much benefit out of the situation as she might like she said that I needed to 'teach' her. I know that she wants 'more' as there are times when she is clearly frustrated when the proper application of the power that she holds would provide her with the outcome she desires, but I hesitate to...influence...her decisions/actions out of the concern that doing so would result in 'topping from the bottom', a sense that it might become a case of her doing what she thinks *I* 'want' her to do. This leaves me somewhat conflicted because there are certain things that I would find enjoyable/desireable/erotic if they were to occur, or if she were to act in a particular manner to obtain her desired outcome, but I don't want *my* desires to influence/override *hers*.

The ideal situation (for me) would be for her to be able to choose her own courses of action without my input or influence but, unfortunately, she lacks the knowledge that would aid her. Compounding the problem is her disinclination to go surfing through the 'porn' on the web, which could certainly provide her with a wealth of ideas and information. I'm not sure why she is so against it, she certainly enjoys XXX videos. I'm wondering if a 'porn free' advice area would be beneficial to her...although...if she were to start frequenting this site, well, I've been a little freer with my thoughts her than I might have been with her, and I've no doubt that she would soon recognize my posts and I'm not certain how she might react...although, if last night was any indication, she might not react badly and I could end up in the BCWYWF zone.

Although, now that I think about it, maybe we should surf together? I'm slightly uncomfortable with that, but she does like watching vids with me, maybe that's a part of the solution that would relieve some of her anxieties/inhibitions.

You will have to convince Thupmer as he is the admin, but the general consensus is that this forum is "all inclusive" and special sub forums or forums may make some feel less included. I don't have a view either way. I see no harm in it and I see no reason that a specifc thread could not be used? Either way it is down to the site owner.

There are a few web boards on which it became simply ridiculous. On one, men were looking in the "no peeking - wimmin only" forums, so the admins made it so that men's accounts would be suspended if they did that. So naturally men were signing up as women just so they could look look (not necessarily participate). Then the admins began asking for verification. And for what?

I'm all for a Keyholder forum in which newbs could trade advice, seek support, etc., but I'd hate to see it become a sooper sekret members-only klub. For now, until Thumper gets back from vacation or wherever, maybe we could have a Keyholder thread in the Members Only forum? Maybe Belle or CQ could start it and keep it nudged up near the top?

I think I know which one that is. It kind of fits the name of the board don't you think?

I can see where a Keyholders subforum would be handy just like the "devices" subforum is handy. It wouldn't make much of a difference to me, I just use the "View unread posts" link so they would just show up in the list like they do now. I can see how it would be helpful to someone that is just browsing trying to find some information and decide if they want to sign up to be a member.
