What are you getting so defensive about for? Of course it was a great seller for years. It was basically the only one. Like any product, a smart company will evolve their products. The iPhone 1 was a great amazing device but compared to iPhone 4 it is like a rotary phone.
The 3000 was an improvement but then, in time, it became clear that there was potential for pain and pinching at the hinge. That led to the 6000, which is almost perfect. i barely notice it is on sometimes and i have worn both for months. The main difference in why it does not cause those similar sore spots is in the ring design. the 6000 has wider flat rings where the pressure is distributed better. The 2000 had rounded rings edges that created greater concentrations of pressure. I can tell you first hand there is no way I would be able to wear the 2000 for as long as I have the 6000.

Stay moisturied and everything should be fine. It can also help to build up the time gradually if you're not used to being lockedup
