Hygene and Concealability
Let me start off by saying that I am new to the world of male chastity. Last week I receivied my first male chastity device, a cb6000s. As far as the device goes, I have had no problems with it. The 2" ring is a bit snug, and I wish it had come with a 2 1/8 ring as well, I don't know if that would have been too loose, but I would have liked to have tried it anyway. There are two things that trouble me with it though. The first is hygene. I know I am just learning, but it does seem a bit more bothersome that I would like to keep clean in it. Second is it is way to hard to conceal. The plastic locks are better than the master lock for concealability. I have to wear a jock and very loose shorts to conceal it. I believe that if my wife and I decide to continue with this, and we are both very pleased so far, we will have to find a better device in the not so distant fututre. So my question is what are the best devices for ease of hygene and concealability? The advice of those who have experiance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Hygene and Concealability
I'm sure you'll get some other responses soon from others who have also started out in the CB-x000 devices and then went on to something else. From what I've read, it seems that the metal devices are more concealable as there's less material to have to hide. Also, the metal devices can be more open design to allow for easier cleaning. It is for these reasons (and reviews I read) that I ordered a Mature Metal Queen's Keep.
For ultimate concealability, I think the full belt$ might be an option, but then you also sacrafice the hygiene aspect you are also looking for.

Re: Hygene and Concealability
I'm in a CB6000s right now, it's been on for 12 days with no break. I haven't had any concealability issues at all. First week I wore it to work with flat front dress pants with briefs and it looked fine, on nights and weekends I wear boxers with shorts. Today I'm wearing flat front dress pants with boxers, and you can't tell. My point? I guess everyone is built different and the devices react different to all builds.
As far as hygiene, I haven't had a problem with that either. I did order the swabs that are recommended on the "CB6000s Long term" thread I started, and they help a lot. I don't see the need to ever take this off for hygiene reasons, but I am spending some significant time making sure it's clean and dry.

Re: Hygene and Concealability
Thanks for your replies, they make me believe my two concerns are connected. I am currently in the 2" ring. There are no curculation problems, but there's no wiggle room either. This is comfortable, but hard to clean around. This also throws everything forward. The bulge I don't mind, the outline of the lock sticking out I do. I have seen the steel models with the security screws, I like the idea of them.

My KH & I felt the same way. She much preferred the plastic numbered lock. It was not so obtrusive and noticable. Even though it is easily cut, there's no way to hide it if I cut it and replaced it with another numbered lock. She would put the number of the lock in her cellphone each time.

Did you order the security screw option on the MM Queen's Keep you have on the way? If so, let us know what you think of it.
Re: Hygene and Concealability
I have the "higher security" screw on my Queens Keep. It makes the profile much lower and neater and the key is not available to purchase on-line according to MM.
The threads are cut quite tight - I initially tried to put it on without the key and found it very difficult - you need the key to line up the threads. It does have the advantage of making the connection between the ring and cage very solid when torqued up. From a security viewpoint I am not sure if I could remove it with pliers - I haven't tried, but it would definitely be difficult and would certainly damage the head of the screw.
I have been continuously locked now for nearly 3 weeks and the screw has not loosened at all.
Also I have found no problems with hygiene -I am uncut, but can clean under the foreskin by pushing it back with a Q tip and then using soap spray and the showerhead. Takes 3 mins in the morning. MUCH easier and cleaner than the CB3K which got pretty mucky after a few days and needed a removal and thorough clean.
I wore the CB3K 24/7 for a long time and it didn't really show under clothing - the QK is much smaller and even less noticable (if at all). But the cage on mine is only 1 3/4" long.

This website also has a "Reusable plastic lock" available for the CBXXXX models:
http://www.lockeduplove.net/page/accessories
It is kind of like a high security screw setup for the CBXXXX models. It has a barrel that goes over the pin, with a screw in pin and key. It is a much lower profile and eliminates the lock rattle.

Thank you for the information. The security screw option seems to be a good choice. I have looked at the MM products and felt that the pet trap or the watchful mistress would be the lesser noticable products because they don't have bars welded around on the outside of the cage, I don't know this, just trying to get imput. I have also seen some who wear the MM products say that vertical urination is possible, especially if you get them to modify the cage for it. This would be very good for me as I am outdoors with friends a lot and it's just not possible to squat to pee without giving away information I would prefer to keep to myself. Again, thanks to all for the information.

Thanks for the link. I will show this to my wife tonight and get her input. It may be a short term help to deal with some issues until we can do different. Thanks again.

Re: Hygene and Concealability
CuriousDud,
One thing to note is that your anatomy "stretches" quite a lot in the first couple of months of wearing a CB - I found I adjusted the gap on my CB3K 3 or 4 times as my body adapted, so it may be worth the wait before ordering a custom device as they are not adjustable in the same way - you want your body to settle down before deciding on a size.
For cleaning, with the CB3K I used a squeeze bottle with antibacterial soap solution up through the end and then the shower head each morning, but still needed to have the device removed for a good wash every 4-5 days. I haven't worn the MM WM or Pet trap, but doesn't look as easy to keep clean as the open cage models.
Best to see if a WM wearer can comment - it may be easier than I think.
As far as concealability goes, I wear jeans and/or slacks to work every day and it really doesn't show.
