A custom cage with no space for the penis to grow in length or girth will help a lot. As will a wider base ring design. Ultimately, night erections shoukd be uncomfortable, but not painful. I find the the discomfort erotic.
Locked 24/7 since July 2018

Same here @CagedKC. Sometimes I’m okay with laying in bed enjoying the attempted erection. It’s the only pleasure I get until released so I’ll take it. But it’s seldom painful for me. I just need to be relaxed about the fact I’m not getting optimum sleep. An acceptable trade - sleep for pleasure.
KY has a chastity wheel. She spins it and the wheel selects my cage. It’s fun. Today, it’s the ole CB-X from a few years ago. Tomorrow, or next week… who knows?

My normal flaccid size is a Nub size and not having hardly any growth space is both a blessing and curse. Mornings are surprisingly calm but I am aware of the unforgiving confinement all the time. I am new to all this so not sure how I feel about the new sensations I am experiencing.

To my surprise I am. The desire is there but mechanically, impossible while locked. The sensation of the constant confinement, the inability to become hard, the hard shell that encases me prevents any external stimulation, has an unexpected calming effect. No matter what I do, without the key, this is my situation. And I think I like that feeling. As long as I am locked, I can't change my conditions. I am finding the longer I remain locked, the better I like it. Not what I expected when I began this. But I am very early on.

Until this morning I'd have said "what morning wood?" I'm currently in my smallest cage, and there's no room for any growth at all. I've not had any issues with morning wood since I moved out of my first, over sized, stainless steel cage.
Until this morning. No idea what caused it, but it woke me up 4 or 5 times between 1am and the alarm going off. Very odd!

Yep, a blessing and a curse.Johndoe wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 5:27 am My normal flaccid size is a Nub size and not having hardly any growth space is both a blessing and curse. Even when you're no longer new to it, it will still be the same. It doesn't go away. You don't get desensitised to it.
Constant unforgiving confinement sums it up.

This happens.
I've been wearing the Cobra Nub for longer between cage changes recently and some days and nights I hardly know it's there. Then, out of the blue, I get a night like you describe. Strangely, it happened to me last night as well.
Also strange is how it's continuing into the day.
I've not worked out a pattern to it yet.

Yesterday, I slept clear through to my wife’s alarm, which doesn’t usually happen even when I’m not caged.
This morning, the nocturnal erection alarm clock had me awake two hours early, and persisted through getting up and urinating. Forced me to give up on sleep.
No idea what the difference was.

Re: Does Morning Wood *ever* become less painful?
My brain is still learning to process all the new sensations of chastity. I suspected it would be intense at times but not the mix of excitement, fear, discomfort, the inability to feel or be felt, the constant desire to be released but not wanting to be released, the constant reminder while locked my penis is mine but not mine, the cage unrelenting. How my mind is focused on the inaccessible, the increased sexual tension. And then a let down after releasing. I thought I knew how I would feel. I clearly didn't.
Is this normal or am I wacked in the head?
