A custom cage with no space for the penis to grow in length or girth will help a lot. As will a wider base ring design. Ultimately, night erections shoukd be uncomfortable, but not painful. I find the the discomfort erotic.

Same here @CagedKC. Sometimes I’m okay with laying in bed enjoying the attempted erection. It’s the only pleasure I get until released so I’ll take it. But it’s seldom painful for me. I just need to be relaxed about the fact I’m not getting optimum sleep. An acceptable trade - sleep for pleasure.
KY has a chastity wheel. She spins it and the wheel selects my cage. It’s fun. Today, it’s the ole CB-X from a few years ago. Tomorrow, or next week… who knows?

My normal flaccid size is a Nub size and not having hardly any growth space is both a blessing and curse. Mornings are surprisingly calm but I am aware of the unforgiving confinement all the time. I am new to all this so not sure how I feel about the new sensations I am experiencing.

To my surprise I am. The desire is there but mechanically, impossible while locked. The sensation of the constant confinement, the inability to become hard, the hard shell that encases me prevents any external stimulation, has an unexpected calming effect. No matter what I do, without the key, this is my situation. And I think I like that feeling. As long as I am locked, I can't change my conditions. I am finding the longer I remain locked, the better I like it. Not what I expected when I began this. But I am very early on.
