CS was texting me that she went out for drinks with her friend Jodie who works for a vet. Jodie’s husband cheats and isn’t smart about hiding it. I texted back the husband should watch it. If Jodie knows how to neuter animals, he should know my fear. CS texted back Jodie is a receptionist and I replied that the husband is safe.

Hate when I am right. CS has been saying that she would finally be coming home this weekend. It’s been three weeks. I said I’m sure something will come up to prevent her coming home.
Her mom’s physical therapist came on Monday and asked how long CS was gonna be there. Her mom said it was CS’s last week and broke out crying. Nothing like a mother’s guilt trip. Tuesday CS’s aunt, her mother’s older sister, passed away.
CS called asking me to overnight her “funeral outfits”. You know you are getting up in years when you have a dedicated “funeral outfit”. Tomorrow they drive to Pittsburg and then funeral is Friday. The Physical therapist said CS’s mom is not up for the trip but that is not stopping her mom. I’m just thinking this will set her mom back in her recovery and at very least emotionally depressed. Cannot see CS coming home this weekend.
