We have only been on this journey a short time, but I confess to having purchased seven different cages in that time.

Each one being smaller and although I tried a flat cage, it was both distinctly uncomfortable to the point where I could only wear it for about an hour and a half.

I have found a really comfortable cage that it 42mm long and I can pee easily wearing it, and a smaller 32mm, but this really needs the Urethra tube (metal 55mm came with it) and I just struggle with the tube. I can live with the cage without it and love the "snugness" of it.

My wife hates the flat cage, (so that's a bonus) but loves the HT V2 metal, the 42mm birdcage and the 32mm open cage so I will be locked in these at her choice.

If I thought I could cope with it, I would go inverted, but as I can't cope with the flat cage, that's not an option.

I'm interested in the mindset of wanting to go smaller and smaller as I have. Does everyone want this (or your keyholder)?

Well I started at 8cm, which is the size the websites say I should have used. That went years ago. I then went to 4cm, then 3 and I'm currently wearing a 2cm (all cage length and all steel). My wife likes to lock me in smaller cages, but she also likes to alternate as and when she feels like it.

I'm told a flat is the next to be bought 'soon'.

Yes.
Manufacturers recomended a five inch curve if going by flacid length. I settled on 2.5" for four years.
Recently my kh bought a selection of cages including two flat (the slightly curved type).
My normal cage size now is 1" simply because my kh likes that one the most. But I could wear any of them permanently if needs must.

Hi all,
After 140 days without an orgasm and being caged every day (and now half the week at night because she is gradually getting used to it), I have managed to progress sizing down to an inverted steel cage which is just so comfortable and having struggled with a flat cage, I never thought would be possible.
I find it a bit messy when peeing though.
Does anyone have any advice? - It does have a steel urethral tube.

What you can do is pull your balls back when you pee, so you don't pee on your balls.
And it doesn't get so messy and you don't have to clean as much.

Ive not tried the flat but I have been wearing a 2cm steel for most of this year. So long as I have the urethra hole lined up with the hole / gap in the cage nothing gets wet. Get the alignment wrong and it goes everywhere.²

i started with a flat cage(love the shape of it), then tried to move to an inverted lock. first tired small ball inverted, didnt really like the look when it is locked and it makes a mess when peeing(the whole lock is submerged, only balls are showing and with no pee holes it is a mess everywhere).
right now my daily lock is a nub size resin lock with no additional support. it is about 1.5cm deep from the ring and with enough holes for easy cleaning. i plan to fully unlock for cleaning only once every month.
