Hey all,

As my name hints at; I am British by birth....I pay my taxes in Canada and have worked for years in the US.

With my work I seemed to have travelled around a bit (I didnt include Germany and Asia in the name...not smart enough to figure out a catchy title ! haha)

So if anyone is in New Brunswick or at least in the East coast Canada....do say hello

(....and for the folks in US who think Canadians say Sorry all the time.....sorry I didnt say 'Sorry' I'll do better next time !?!?)

I'm a bit south, have crossed the Calais/St. Stephen border a few times. There used to be a restaurant that served up a wonderful steak at a good price, taking advantage of a favorable exchange rate, just on the other side. Don't remember where it was now, and looking at the map I realize that I was unaware that there are actually *three* crossings from Calais. It's been a while...

yeah St Stephens is a decent place....not far away is St Andrews. Definitely worth a drive to there. Catch the boats to go and see the whales and then have the best Fish 'n Chips we have found in eastern Canada (high praise from Brit !)

The border down at Calais is pretty rustic (and useless really) you can throw any contraband across the river its that close.....or just drive 15 mins north of there....and simply walk across the road to Canada !!!...tag: homeland security haha

I'm originally from Nth Wales myself (living in New Brunswick Canada now) but have spent many great times down in Cornwall....great weather....great beaches....great pubs ..plus my wife is a "Scrumpy" fan so visiting the farms to sample their wares was one of the highlights of course

As I mentioned just above for Bream, I am from North Wales too originally.

In fact I was literally just back there for some family stuff a month ago. My brother lives in Old Conway; got family in Fffynnongroew, Penyffordd and Prestatyn. Ive even got a couple of tattoos of some castles from the area (Conway/Rhyddlan) where we used to play as kids (when playing in dangerous rubble, high walls with no barriers and deep pits was totally acceptable and not child abuse or socially unacceptable playtime!!!)

Id post a couple of pictures here but it seems my account doesnt allow me to post pics

(its on a different topic but other than type here, all I can do is 'like' a post if I use my cell phone !!...its a minimal platform but at least I get to meet all you folks. Tell ya what - if it ever gets fixed I'll post a pic of my tattoos...and maybe the wife/KH too ! haha)
