Not again.... nighttime erections

After searching with Duck Duck Go and reading the posts on nighttime erections, I still have questions for those who have more time with this then I have had.

Like a few others posted, I have multiple erections every night. They usually begin 2-3 hours after falling asleep and then continue to increase in frequency as the night progresses, diminishing in time from 1 1/2 hours apart to about 45 minutes apart. I am curious if this is what most people experienced when they began 24/7 wear or not.

I am also curious how long it took for most people to stop having night time erections or for them to be minimized to a point that they were no longer an issue.

About 10 years ago I went for about 30 days with an CB2000 24/7 and I do not recall the erection issue even subsiding. I am now just into a week of 24/7 with a Jailbird, I was hoping that a cage that fit properly without room at the end to allow growth would help to minimize the erections, alas that does not seem to be the case at this time. I know that I will not be able to have my sleep interrupted like this forever but I am not willing to give up on it.

I don't recall my erections ever subsiding; it was more that, with a properly fitting device, they are less likely to wake me up from the pain or discomfort. And yes, for me, the shorter the cage, the better is seemed to be. Most of the discomfort was actually from the skin stretching on my testicles.

Thank you for your reply. I was hoping the shorter cage would help. In speaking with MM I think my cage may be about 1/4" to short. However, like you I was hoping a shorter cage would be better.

The skin stretching is where my discomfort is coming from as well.

I was also thinking that the base ring may be a touch to small thus slowing the time it takes for the blood to withdraw. Guess I will need to start having adjustments made to see if I can find the right fit to cause less nighttime discomfort.

Anyone have a suggestion on whether I should start by having the ring stretched a 1/16h" or should I try to lengthen the cage slightly.

Well stretching the ring would be less costly than lengthening the cage. A 1/16" could make a difference.

As for night time erections, I have to agree with Tom. I feel I have a properly fitted cage and I still get them but usually sleep right through.

Same here. If they do keep me awake I just go pee and that usually solves the problem.

Eventually I got to where only the last one woke me up, and then I'd stay up.

Thank you for all the feedback. I had been under the impression that they would subside with time but it sounds like I just need to work on getting the fit right and with time they should stop waking me up.

And I must say I still can't sleep well, after more than 200 nights ( not consecutive).

Must be a sizing issue because I am very fortunate I get my best nights sleep when caged . I do awake pleasantly firm pressing against my JB feeling so grateful to have such a wonderful wife / Mistress that makes sure I am locked every night . She does this because I wake early and she knows that if I am not locked that is when my self indulgence starts . But that's another story , I don't ever remember any difficulty in sleeping just lucky I guess .
