Base ring question

Post by attentive_husband »

I'm new to this and won't even be in my first device until this Saturday (if my wife agrees). So I may not understand this well. But jamming my privates through a small hole, where there's lots of suggestions for how to do this using string, lube, a big rubber mallet... does not strike me as fun.

Has any of the manufacturers considered building it in 2 halves that connect with a pin into a hole at the endpoints with very fine machining tolerances so there is no gap? You then use very small screws to hold them together - and have the cage connect in so what really holds them together is the cage, not the screws.

I believe that A. L. Enterprises now has available a system that uses a tri-partite ring in the manner that you suggest, for the CB-xxxx line of devices.

There are also some devices that use hinged rings, as you are no doubt already aware from several recent discussions.

Obviously, the issue with a solid ring is that if it is large enough to get into, then it can just as easily be got out of. This does not matter to some, but it may matter to others.

That looks like a really good design. Unfortunately they don't do a steel cage and I want that (I think).

If you going for a solid ring Try a 50mm first but also try first thing in the morning so balls n skin are flexible and also have the ring warm too by putting it under your pillow during the night or between the mattress.

Then pop one ball in and then the other slowly making sure you have plenty of skin through the ring for the ball to fill up.

Or during a shower is nice but make sure your well dry before placing on the cage.

First, I really don't agree with the premise here. I laughed at your intro, but you should know how to wear a cock-ring safely to be in chastity. If you can't get in, you shouldn't be in. Just tug on your scrotal skin and pop the balls through one at a time and then the shaft. Not hard. (Actually not hard is the key - it helps to be semi-soft at least)

I find the less "features" on the base ring, the better the comfort. You don't want anything to catch or drag on, or press up against that isn't smooth. It ceases to be a fun game when you're fighting the device.

You really don't need a very tight ring. People say you should be able to fit one finger underneath for safety and comfort. I find even a looser fit is fine as well. But it depends on the weight of the cage.

But to answer your question directly, they do make a metal CB6000/CB6000s for $35 and sell it on Amazon. But it's described as very heavy.

Or your could get the Metal Bon4M for $200, which comes with a set of hinged rings.

I loathe the hinged rings you find on DHGate and the fiddly puzzle nature of the CBxK design. We hates nasty pinchy hinges. We hates it forever.

Now, to go very high quality, check out Steelwerks Extreme. They have a lot of finely toleranced titanium base rings that are held together with screws. Pretty much as you describe. But that's top of the line. You can't start there.

Really, if you're wanting a metal design that doesn't require an extremely narrow base ring just to keep it from slipping off your junk, and you're just starting out, my personal recommendation is
(1) test base-ring fit with a cock-ring (cheap sets here). You'll have fun with the cock rings anyway.
(2) check out the $250 Contender - fully custom stainless steel chastity.
Nice low weight and good welds. No pinching.
