HT and Jail Bird size equivalence

I may need to travel. I live in my Jail Bird and it is perfectly comfortable. As far as I can tell, the most popular choice in plastic is the Holy Trainer 2. One site that sells it says one should order the base ring one size smaller. My JB is 1 3/4", so I assume the Holy Trainer base ring should be 1 1/2". My JB cage is 1 1/4" long and 1 1/4" diameter. The dimension for the Holy Trainer Short is 1 7/8" long according to the manufacturer. Of course that means almost nothing since it doesn't explain where the tube actually lands on the penis. The Jail Bird is measured from the scrotum to tip on the underside. I measure 1 3/4" flaccid on the underside.

My question is how that 1 7/8" dimension compares to the Mature Metal measurements. I don't want a device that leaves any "head" room. My ideal fit would have both tip and shaft in constant contact with the device. I would appreciate any information to help me.

I have both and also found that I need a smaller A ring on the HT than the Jailbird. My ring on the Jailbird is 1-3/4", and I should have got the smaller ring for the HT. My Jailbird cage is 2-1/4" and I found that the HT short put me right at the end just as my Jailbird does. You will like this device.

The only problem I see with you traveling is the brass integrated lock in the HT.

If you want to go metal free, you could try what we do sometimes with the CB6000s. She ties a thin ribbon on my penis just before going into the cage, then ties it off thru the vent holes and knots it on the outside. Instead of a lock, she just zip ties the cage shut. There is no way I can get out of the cage without the ribbon showing that I did so. Since she controls the supply of ribbons (she signs her name), the metal lock is not necessary. This system works and you won't get out undetected.

I went from the HT2 to the Jailbird. You cannot compare the rings due to the shape of the HT ring. I had two sizes and both were 2" wide with only the top to bottom close to the stated ring size. For me I used my CB6000 ring size and that is working out for almost a year. I had to send it back twice for adjustment of the gap and to get the security screw put in. There is a significant difference in the two devices and well worth the month. I go many weeks with just a quick removal for a quick washcloth cleaning of my penis before my shower, lock it back up and then shower. Mine is very comfortable.

It looks like the Holy Trainer will be too long by an inch. Is there any other plastic product that is shorter?

The 6000s and the HT short are the two shortest I know of. You might be able to customize one of them if you fill in the extra space at the tip with epoxy or something similar.

If you could take for instance the 6000s cage and tape the pee hole shut, then pour in an epoxy resin so that you fill an inch of space at the end. After the epoxy cures, drill out the pee slot again. I think you would have yourself a custom plastic device!

If you incorporate the ribbon technique, she would KNOW that you can't get out while away from her.

Tena,
I think I explained the "ribbon trick" about a year ago in general chastity chat. Basically, all it does is give it away if you try to sneak out of your device and get back in without your wife knowing.

Here is how it works....
1. get a roll of 1" wide vinyl surveyor tape and cut about 18 inches off. Cut it lengthwise into 3 strips.
2. have the KH sign her name or write a personal note in her handwriting on the ribbon.
3. tie the ribbon with a double knot on your penis, then feed the loose ends thru the cage as you put it on.
4. after the cage is on, tie the loose ends to the cage with another double knot.
5. trim the excess off, so that you won't be able to retie it if the knot fails.
6. you are now secure.

What we found is that the ribbon acts as a tether, keeping a very flaccid penis in the cage. Yes, you can still pull out of the device. BUT, how are you going to get that ribbon back where it belongs? The security comes from my realization that if I try to cheat, the ribbon is almost guaranteed to give it away - so I don't even try.

I don't have any photos. Hopefully my explanation is good enough.

Just tie it midway on the penis only. I have been tying the final knot to the front bar of the cage. It really does make you stay in, almost like you have a piercing. (Although we have been talking about that lately too).

Hey, we are off topic! The question pertained to plastic devices for shorter cocks. Believe it or not, the original CB2000 (I have one of the first handmade units) is much shorter than the current CB6000S. I worry that if I wear it, I might break it. It's a valuable keepsake of mine.

The big issue with the HT2 is keeping it odor free and clean. Any gap at the tip creates a reservoir for pee and other fluids. That's why I like the Jail Bird so much, but it won't make it through TSA security.
