I found the answer to be yes to ring size . But beware of steel I found I sweat in mine and got small sore just as I did once from a cheap watch the back wasn't stainless and I had a reaction to the steel . Haven't had any problems with stainless now in a Jail Bird from mature metal .

Sorry, did not track this well. Yes, as you found, the smaller ring holds things up better. Much agreed that metal is sexier. I think we have the same device. If not for the eventual rust thAt comes pretty quickly, it is pretty good as a sex toy. 50th b day in a deluxe hotel shower lock up - damn I am horny now.

Thank you for the tips. I received my new device with all three rings. I've been trying the smaller ring for a couple of days ff and on and it seems to be working very well. So far I even seem to stay inside the shaft part better than my CB. We'll see how it goes with longer wear.

Happy Birthday, hehe. Sounds frustrating and exciting.

Everything seems so far so good. The only issue is every once in awhile, I get pinched where the cage slides into the ring. There's a small pin on each side of the lock that sldes into the ring. There's a little give at the lock part that allows it to slide in and out a tiny bit and sometimes it grabs my shaft.

Happening to anyone else?

Yes, I've had that. You may be able to find an appropriate size metal washer at your hardware store that can go on the lock shaft first before the lock goes on - that can reduce or elimate play between the cage and base ring. Also I do not use the cheap Wolfdog lock that comes with these devices. Upgrading to a Master lock will give you a heavier hasp that will also tend to reduce play.

Thanks Nebman. The past few days haven't bothered me. It actually feels really comfortable. I'm really liking the size and security now. Pretty much only in the shower its possible for me to easily pull myself out, if I wanted to. But who would want to do that????? :)

Not sure if it's the cheap metal device I used for a bit, but the problem I found was the sheer weight of it. Also, it was plenty big- maybe those eastern manufacturers think us western guys are all huge?
