Hey evryone!

I finally recieved by Jailbird and all I can say is wow. Wow.
I opened it up and my firth thought was "Oooh, shiny." I'm not quite sure how to explain this, but it seemed both larger and smaller than I was expecting. I guess that really doesn't matter though becuase the bottom line is that it fits perfectly! I'm glad I took a long time to make sure I got the right size. It actually might be a little short, but it probably only seemed that way because I was very aroused. Also, I ordered a size down on the base ring and it fits fine, but I immagine I will need to downsize on it before too long.The weight I thought it had is pretty much a non-issue. I don't even think I need any breaking-in time. I really can't believe how wonderful it is. Goodbye plastic!
One of the reasons I wasn't really sure I wanted the JB at the beginning was because I thought the open design would give me too much access, but I don't think it does at all. Also, I don't think I can get out of this thing. For real. I tried pulling out of it for about 15 minutes with absolutely no luck. I might try again with some kind of lubrication just to see if I can get out (Just out of curiosity.)
The absolute only issue I have with it right now is the fact that the cage swivels on the post a little bit right now. I don't really notice it while wearing it, but I really do think it adds to the possibility of injury or discomfort. Is that normal for a MM device or is something wrong. I plan on asking Bill about it, but i also wanna here from all of the MM wearing people here.

Cage/Ring Gap : 3/8" Gap
Cage Length : 2 3/4" Length
Ring Size : 1 3/4" Ring
Cage Diameter : 1 3/8" at the base 1 7/16" closer to the end.

The length will probably not be an issue after a couple of days.

Try putting the security screw in from the other side and see if that tightens things up any. Mine are all different and some need the screw to go in from the left, some the right. This can also affect the alignment of the rings so you might want to look at that too.

Sizing on these things is a funny thing. What is perfect today may not be after a month. Luckily it is fairly inexpensive to get new base rings. Hopefully the cage is right. When I recently ordered my steelheart I went with a ring that was just slightly smaller than the smallest ring I wore with any of the mature metal devices. It actually measured out slightly smaller than what I ordered and it is still too big (not really too big but bigger than I want). I am in contact with them about getting one that is 2mm smaller than that and will probably get one 4mm smaller too just so I don't have to pay shipping again later down the road.

My first Jailbird was almost exactly that same size. Brings back memories.

Excellent advice. My JB is also very difficult to get out of and I decided to assume it's inescapable. Made things much easier back when I was wearing it.
