Device With Ball Rings

Anyone have experience with this type of device ?

Particular concern is the ball management feature.

That, that looks uncomfortable. There are a couple pics in the reviews section in action.
My other issue is that the cage portion is basically straight, 90degrees from the ring. Stick out too far for my preference which causes pants to push on it and not sit right.

A lot of these designs look great on paper.
