Better Padlock ?

As you know, the multitude of off the shelf cages with a padlock, are supplied with one that is basically junk. The hole in the nylon pin used with the padlock, can be enlarged significantly, to accept a larger padlock. Has anyone found a high quality, slightly larger padlock that will work ?

Master Lock makes one that fits, about the same size but better quality. I've been using the same one for years and years.

Look for the TSA padlocks for luggage. They can be found that look like traditional brass padlocks or in different colors/shapes.

Master Lock is the best.

Yeah, I would avoid the TSA locks. I screened baggage with them for 8 years and all the locks I dealt with were junk. Even the POS's that come with a generic cage are better locks that the TSA requires.

The Abus lock that fits Mature Metal devices is great, if the plastic pin hole could be enlarged enough to fit it.
