It appears that there are always more small locks to choose from. Several sizes of the heart-shaped padlocks, made of solid Sterling Silver, are available from the firm Symbolic Treasures. These locks all come with matching keys, and they can be viewed as follows: http://symbolictreasures.com/product_in ... ucts_id=41 These padlocks are engravable, and can also be special ordered in solid gold, if desired.

Curiousnotgeorge: That topic has been the subject of several previous discussions. Some members have reported that they keep an extra key for emergency purposes in a sealed envelope, with the initials or signature of their KH written across the flap. Others, who wish to keep an extra key with them at all times, have placed it on their keyring, wrapped the end with masking tape, and have had their KH initial it. Using these methods, it would immediately become obvious to their KH, upon her regular inspection, whether the emergency key has been tampered with, or used without her knowledge and permission.

You could dip the key in multiple times depending on how thick you wanted it.

I have now come across a "Small Piercing Padlock," made of Stainless Steel, which is available from Body Jewellery Shop. This lock appears to open with a Phillips screwdriver rather than with a key, and it can be viewed as follows: http://www.bodyjewelleryshop.com/online ... 238490.cfm

I have found another small padlock, this time made of solid Sterling Silver. It has a rather unique round shape, and it is available from the Austrian firm Zip World. This small lock comes with one key, and it can be viewed as follows: http://www.zipworld.com.au/~koroba/misc ... c0053.html

Here is another small padlock, made of Stainless Steel with a brushed finish. It is available from the German firm Axsmar, and it is opened by using the supplied Allen wrench. This small lock can be viewed as follows: http://www.axsmar.eu/aid-269-Minischloesschen.html
