An update

I should preface this by explaining that my wife and I have been enjoying a rather robust and kinky sex life for the past year or so. What this entails is her tying me up and reading books she enjoys (and I would never give the time of day) to me. This has been a great deal of fun and helped her to feel more confident with tying me up... something she really wanted but didn't have.

The first thing we agreed upon was that a belt did not fit into our lifestyle, nor our interests... so that narrowed the market down. After some discussion on cleanliness, styling, and security we agreed on either a Steelworxx Steelheart or Steelheart 2. After some feedback from owners of the Steelheart, we decided that it was going to be what we wanted. Unfortunately, the cost was not in the immediate budget, so we agreed that ordering it would have to wait until the 3rd week in May (next week).

A week ago Thursday, we were reading through Sarah Jameson's book on teasing and denial, and we came across a one that centers on having the woman whisper the man's greatest fantasies back to him. This brought up a discussion on what my fantasies were and lead to me writing several of them out for her. On Tuesday of this past week, we had some fun reading them together, discussing what and why they were so interesting to me, and talking about what was realistic and what was not.

I gotta know, does it really take 4 weeks for a custom sized device from Steelworxxx? I hope it is a LOT less!!!!

I think 4 weeks would be pretty fast actually. I think mine took eight weeks but I did add some stuff midway through the wait. It was before he started building it though so I don't think it added that much time to the wait, maybe a couple of weeks at most. Depending on where you are located I would guess around 6 weeks would be more accurate including shipping (mine was 12 days from when he shipped it until it arrived).

Well, today marks week 4 of the honor system (28 days) and week 3 since I ordered the Steelheart. Unfortunately, the Steelworxx site still has my order listed as "processing"... what ever that means... All I know is that it does NOT say SHIPPED yet.

I sent him a message last night. He stated that he would make it next week! I guess I am probably looking at July 5th at least:

"the delivery time is at the moment approx 5 weeks ,because we have a lot of orders. You order is made within the next week."

Not too sure about 5 weeks if it hasn't been made yet... sounds more like 7 weeks if it is made in week 4.

Well, another week has passed and the www site still shows "processing" so I am guessing that he did NOT make it "within the next week"... unless he is packaging it up right now and shipping it. Additionally, I don't know how on earth he can still be promising me delivery on 5 weeks when at the end of the 4th week it hasn't been shipped.

Yes, I am being a whiny and impatient consumer... but when a vendor sets and expectation (promising 4-5 weeks delivery) they should either meet the expectation or notify the customer that they will be unable to meet the expectation and compensate them for the delay. Especially when it is a rather expensive purchase ($360.00 is a lot of money right now...).
