Viable male CBs in the early 1990s?
Just wondering about the history of our kink. Were there viable male CBs back in the 1980s and early 90s?

Altairboy started his site back in 1996, and his early archives list a few "manufacturers" who seemed to be a handful of guys building custom fitted full belts from their own templates. The principal buyers seemed to be the BDSM crowd or the chastity/ bondage fetish enthusiasts.
William Jones - similar to Goethals, no longer around.
Access Denied - similar to (I forget) - closed some years ago.

I'm not sure where Latowski comes in. Ms Lori's devices also come in late 90s as different models that you could order, but it really was the Millers who put the first mass produced and non custom device on the market.
Altairboy nuked all the older pictures from his site so he wouldn't rub across either copyright or age restrictions issues, but even the old text posts from the early days may be instructive for you:

If you spend any time over there, it becomes apparent that most chastity kinksters were DIY types; understandabke, considering the cost of those custom made full belts.
Edit: here is a story from 1999 in which a woman orders a CB 2000 for her husband. She writes that it cost $229 and she had to wait 7 - yes, 7 weeks for delivery. That was probably when the Millers were actually hand assembling the devices from acrylic rods and rings.

And here's an early account of the CB 2000 as a new product:

Both date from early 1999.

Re: Viable male CBs in the early 1990s?
I have been into fetish and kink for over 40 years and tried to find a good chastity device. All that I found were leather type ones and all were way too big for my massive 3" penis. Pre-internet made is almost impossible to find anything at all. Now you can buy a whole dungeon worth of toys. I had given up on chastity although my Mistress and my wife were eager to lock it up. We tried the teeth of Kali, which has been around for a while but my penis turtles too often when things are on it so it did not work. The last item we bought was a leather sheath with pins on the inside but my little wiener was too small to wrap it around. I never had luck with devices that required you to slip your testicles through it. One of them is much larger than the other so to fit the larger one, I have to get a ring that is too big for the smaller one.
Only last year did our interest in chastity revive and I saw the CB6000s which I now wear 24/7. Wife loves to tease and deny and we are currently on a chastity period of two to three months, after which we will decide the optimum period. My wife is bi and not a penis fan so she is fine with never letting me have an orgasm but I still need them so we need to find a happy medium.

I tested one of the very first CB2000. It was hand made from acrylic off the shelf tube, rod, and rings. I also had and reviewed Access Denired. John, the maker, died suddenly and the product died. Lori's original tubes were amazingly painful to wear. Rey, from Hawaii briefly offered a device made from PVC pipe. It was. Surprisingly comfortable.Tom Allen wrote:Altairboy started his site back in 1996, and his early archives list a few "manufacturers" who seemed to be a handful of guys building custom fitted full belts from their own templates. Interesting. I do remember when the CB-2000 came onto the market, but didn't know about the handmade versions. Are there any pictures of these?...would love to see what one looked like. I imagine they had some sort of plastic welder to make them...

Thanks! This is interesting because we had a thread over on the Femdom reddit about advice to teenage self. It would seem the advice I'd give myself about getting a comfy ballgripping device simply wouldn't have been useful back in the 1980s!
