I've always enjoyed tying knots (of which rope bondage is naturally a part) but the *poverty/chastity/obedience symbology would be lost on most people. At the moment there is always something else to spend the money on (including the Steelheart ) but it's going to be done.

*my understanding
Usually the three fold rule is poverty / celibacy / obedience for first order (single, living in community) and simplicity / chastity / obedience for the third order (can be married, not living in community). Depending on the individual situation these can differ and poverty / chastity / obedience is very possible. The differences are fairly nuanced anyway. I have a good friend that is a first order but not living in a community anymore, he lives under simplicity / celibacy / obedience.

I do agree that it would make a good tattoo. I would put the Steelheart high on the list as well.
