To me boyish equals (all this referring to cocks)...slim, long, nicely shaped, somewhat hairless, fitting perfectly in the hand, fitting perfectly in the mouth...I've never been a fan of big hairy, beary guys (although I can understand why they appeal to others...just not me!). Well if you read some of the cuck chastity porn then it is ideal for chastity and indeed must be shaved precisely for that reason. Meanwhile back in the real world I totally get your point, it's highlighting something you aren't sure you want highlighted.

My wife had tiny breasts. Almost totally flat but with big lovely nipples. I thought they were beautiful and wanted her to wear tight crop tops without bra to show off her lovely figure. She felt uncomfortable with it. She always would feel uncomfortable even when she dressed up and looked great. Beauty is in the eye certainly, but she just didn't like it being so obvious.
