Bottom line regarding "membership dues" or other kinds of payments is I would never want them since then this becomes a job not a hobby or passion and that would suck donkey. Not going to happen.

If your host runs on a Linux/Unix server, you could have a simple little chron script that runs every day and wipes all the new signups that don't respond to the authentication e-mail within a limited period of time (whatever you think is reasonable).

I am in complete agreement with Tom and CQ. It's a good forum. Lots of interesting topics and real issues discussed sensibly and openly. Up to now I can't think of a time when I thought "Oh I wish this forum had xxxx feature"

I'd happily contribute a small amount, but.....

If it's not broke, why fix it?

You should ask it in the main forum so more people notice it.

My wife isn't particularly enamored of looking at those pics - not that she really has; it's only when I've tried to show her a few different styles.

Maybe a true "Pictures" sub-forum would allow us to share pics, even quite explicit ones, without offending the casual guest who comes visiting.
