Well how do people keep their trousers up without being overly restricted? The human body is supposed to be wider at the hips than the waist, and because of that, waistbands and belts work, and pants stay up without overly restricting movement. It doesn't have to be restrictively tight. I understand...

I don't understand the last post regarding the design being problematic for long term wear. If anything, the design to me appears much better suited for long term wear than most. The linked model in particular, with its adjustability and flexibility, appear to allow it to move with the body naturally.
