yes they do but you still have to learn the right process for each one. Proper sizing helps a lot too.
I could pee standing up in my CB3000 also. It did help when I opened the tip up a little bit per Tom Allen's tip on his blog. You might want to check that out.

I'm in a Mature Metal Jailbird and I had them spread the horizontal bars in the front just enough so standing is possible. With the JB design it's very easy to line myself up for a no mess pee.
