Yep, I think I discovered him when I was in the third grade, about a year after discovering the Public Library. Starship Troopers was probably the first book I got hold of, followed by Stranger In A Strange Land. After that, I started reading others such as Asimov, Niven, Pournelle, etc. I was hooked on Sci-Fi and left kids books behind. I tried reading some of H. P. Lovecraft's stuff but just couldn't get into it.

I found him in 8th grade, and read through everything I could find with his name. Starship Troopers was and is my favorite of the lot, but I have read it all. I loved his juveniles, still have some around the house here somewhere. Then I branched out to E.E. "Doc" Smith, Jerry Pornelle, and quite a few others. I have tried to stay with hard sci-fi, but there is just not enough of it out there that interests me. I even did Battlefield Earth and the Mission Earth series, good books all but Hubbard took a weird turn and I had to force myself through book 6. Lovecraft is just weird, and no I never got into it either. Jack Chalker was a very interesting author, and of course Johnny Ringo. I read by author as much as subject matter, and they both are pretty captivating reading.TwistedMister wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 8:01 am Yep, I think I discovered him when I was in the third grade, about a year after discovering the Public Library. Haha, guilty as well. He left quite a mark on me as a kid. I Will Fear No Evil is the book that has stuck with me the most. I was always fascinated by the “brain in a new body” trope. Love Lazarus Long. Heinlein’s libertarian ideals were pervasive and persuasive. Citizenship is a responsibility and must be earned. TANSTAAFL! To bring it back home… My key holder grants me egg money.

I read Starship Troopers and was not really impressed. Philip K Dick stuff is usually pretty good and I am through book two of Jackson Ford's Frost Files series and can highly recommend them.
On topic, I am past 5 weeks into my initial lockup of 6 months. My wife told me this morning that "Just because I am going to unlock you then, doesn't mean you get to have an orgasm."

While sitting on the back porch enjoying a cigar that was gifted to us, @HisKeyholder82 commented how much she liked it I said, “At least we know what you like.” To which she responded, “Yeah - Mo [one of her solo toys] and Vix [the vikskin I use on her].”

Tonight @HisKeyholder82 and I were talking. I’ve been almost a month since my last full orgasm, which is a record since we’ve started chastity. She said something about how it was getting easier to keep me locked. I asked if it was because I was making sure her needs were met and she was handling it okay. She told me, “No, it’s because I realize you’re handling it okay and I don’t actually have to let you cum anymore.”
