A chastity wikipidea is a great idea, but watch out that it will not become a sm wikipidea or something like that. I think chastity on these forums has nothing to do with sm, femdom or bdsm, it could be a part of it ok, but nothing more than that.

If there were a Chastipedia, I think it'd need to be fairly focused around the mechanics of the practice as well as orgasm denial/control. I'd also need a bit of D/s to be included because for many (if not most) that's a key component, but the question of where it'd end with regard to BDSM in general is a good question. Also, as much as I'm NOT excited by the prospect, I don't know how you keep feminization of out the mix as it's also a component of that practice, though not (IMO) a key part of the the chastity lifestyle itself.

There's a venn diagram in all this somewhere...

As I've said on my blog and other places, I think you can differentiate between those who practice chastity because they are interested in chastity (ie, most of the folks here) vs. those who use chastity as a component of a larger "program," or "training," or "discipline." I think with that viewpoint, you can mention feminization as well as other fetishes (ie, humiliation) but not have to spend inordinate amounts of time discussing them, but instead, keep the focus on chastity.

Was just looking at some of the free Wiki hosting spaces. Do you suppose we'd fall under the "no obscene materials" rules?

I know that Wiki has been a source of information for me because they do have listings for chastity and BDSM so it may not be a problem. If you used common words ie. penis not cock, I would think it would be okay.

Right, but how about posting pictures? Perhaps we could feature the devices themselves, but not being worn, or give links to Tumblrs, blogs, etc., that show them being worn, if the need (heh) arises for explanatory purposes.

Actually, this might be a good idea, especially if we could incorporate (or blend) a number of the FAQs that are posted in various places around the net.
